This course is perfect for a beginner and will guide you through the application of Individual eyelash extensions so that you can start offering this treatment to clients. This treatment is one of the most popular salon treatments at the moment and one most loved by lash technicians. You will be guided through the step by step application and removal process.

This course is ideal for beginners wanting to learn how to apply individual eyelash extensions. This course is fully accredited meaning once you are qualified you can gain insurance and begin offering the treatment to clients.

Structure of the Individual Eyelash Extension Day Course

We require students to arrive for 9am, the day will begin with welcome, brief introduction and handing out manuals. Moving onto theory talking through everything you need to know from health & safety to individual lash application and removal. We will then take a short break and then begin the practical part of the day where you will see a demonstration of lash application then start to complete a set of lash extensions on a dummy head. You will also have the opportunity to place a few lashes once ready student on student this will ensure you are confident to complete your first set of lash extensions when you leave. Your educator will be on hand to guide you throughout taking time with each and every student, this is the beauty of being part of a small classroom course. Once the practical has finished you will then have the opportunity to answer questions and ask for advice on how best to begin your career as a lash technician. You will then have your final appraisal where you will become a Fully Qualified Individual Eyelash Technician.

Insurance

Following your qualification you will be able to gain insurance to start offering the treatment to paying customers, we can provide a full list of approved insurance providers.

    When will my course be?

    We will be in touch after you purchase your course to arrange the next available date for you to attend our courses. We run courses Mon-to-Saturday.

    We ensure that classes are kept small, and will give you several options so that you can pick a date that suits your availability.

    Do I need any previous experience?

    Our courses are designed for beginners, so you need absolutely no previous experience to start.

    Do you offer payment plans?

    Yes we do - you can spread the cost of your course over 12 months at 0% APR. Contact us for more information on how to do this.

    How long does it take?

    We have 1 & 2 day courses.

    Do I need to bring anything?

    All equipment is provided for you by LBTA for use during your training day. We'll also have a lunch break around 1pm and have lots of local shops at all our locations for a quick bite to eat.

    Will there be other students?

    We keep classes small (no more than 5 students - please note 2 day course will be 10 students), we also have multiple tutors on the day to ensure you get the attention and time you need.

    What if I struggle?

    Our tutors are always on hand to answer any questions you may have, you can simply ask one of the tutors for help, we'll be with you every step of the way to help with any concerns or thoughts you may have.

    When will my assessment be?

    Your assessment will be on the same day. Students arrive and the first part is theory, after that, we concentrate on the practical side, developing your skills step-by-step until you are fully competent and meet the standard. After this, we'll assess your ability and on meeting the criteria, we will then qualify you - to date we've had a 100% pass rate.

    Will I receive a qualification?

    On passing the course, you will receive a LBTA training certificate, fully accredited.

    Is there a dress-code?

    Not at all, we just advise that you wear something that makes you feel comfortable.

    Do I need a model?

    Pre-covid, this was the case and sometimes we used to supply the models too - we prefer for students to learn on real hands.
    However, due to new restrictions from the pandemic, classes are strictly student only and because of this, students work on each other taking turns to practice. We actually find this to have some extra benefits.
